Cute Otters

Kitchi the the otter and three others braved a daring escape from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and is still believed to be at large.

From the Colorado Connection: From the Colorado Connection: Kitchi is a North American river otter. He and three other otters made a break for it on Thursday when they wriggled out of their enclosure at the zoo.

Zoo officials were able to recapture three of the four, but Kitchi thumbed his nose at authorities and is believed to be laying low somewhere near the Broadmoor golf course.

Zoo officials say there have been sightings of the outlaw otter. But so far Kitchi has managed to avoid their dragnet.

Three male otter pups were just born at the Columbus Zoo to proud parents, Audrey and Babar. So tiny and cute, I'm sure it'll be a while before they go on display.

Hello Everyone,

  Sorry for so few updates in the last month or so. My computer has been dying a slow death and 2 weeks ago it gave up the ghost and I don't think it's worth it to fix it this time. Right now I'm working on a backup computer until I can recover all of my files and programs from my old computer. I'm far from rich but I need a new computer and I'm thinking about going from a PC to a Mac. I can get a cheap PC laptop but I'm considering getting a nice iMac so I can have a stable computing system for a change. The only downside to the Mac is that they're pretty expensive. So I'm curious, which would you recommend, Mac or PC and why?

Here's an excerpt from a PBS show called Planet Earth. I couldn't find it in any local listings so it might be an old show. I'll have to do more research because I'd definitely like to see the whole show.

From the Monterey Bay Aquarium: Asian small-clawed otters play a piano duet as a behind-the-scenes enrichment at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Brothers Tiga and Empat now live at the Otters and Owls sanctuary in England, where trainers plan to continue their music lessons!
