CuteOtters.com congratulates two San Lorenzo Valley Watershed Academy Juniors, Sanaya Forbes and Emily Dolson for winning the Santa Cruz County Science Fair with their project about the human influence on Sea Otters. It's nice to see young people who care about the ocean and our otters. For winning, they got a trip to Atlanta for the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
From The PressBanner.com:Thirty-five local science students won awards at the Santa Cruz County Science Fair, with five moving on to the state science fair and two of those also going to an international fair. Big winners at the March 7 and 8 fair were Emily Dolson and Sanaya Forbes, juniors at San Lorenzo Valley High School’s Watershed Academy. Their project involved the study of human influences on the California sea otter.
I've always thought that otters were the cutest animal on the earth so I thought I'd dedicate a whole web site to them. This site is also to bring awareness of sea otters being on the endangered species list. If you have any otter pictures or video to submit, read the FAQ.
