Video: Sea World Sea Otter Grooming

I'm not sure why an otter grooming is so adorable but I can watch them groom forever. This cute little girl otter spent about 15 minutes straight just grooming and squishing her face. If you haven't been to Sea World yet, I highly recommend the trip. It was so much better than I ever expected and besides the awesome sea otters, there's an otter in a show who does a few tricks and you can get up close to dolphins! I can't wait to go again.

Otter paws are so prosh. They look so relaxed and literally laid back, like they enjoy grooming themselves. ADorable.

If you ever go to Singapore check out the Night Zoo show. The world's cutest demonstration of how easy it is to recycle as shown by otters!

TY for taking me back to when we lived in So CA & visited SeaWorld @ least once a month. I would spend soooo much time with the otters! It is wonderful to see them again. They don't have otters @ SeaWorld Orlando. :-(

No otters in Orlando? Too bad. At least there are plenty of dolphins! I really fell in love with the dolphins at Sea World San Diego! They were just so smart and fun to watch. I've never seen so many so close before.

I think the "adorable" factors are that the otter looks like s/he's doing morning ablutions-- brushing teeth, washing face, shaving, moisturizing, etc.

PLUS... otters using their hands/paws is AUTOMATICALLY adorable!

And I only captured half of her grooming ritual! When I saw her smooshing her face, I had to run to the other side to capture this moment.
