British Wildlife Centre Baby Otter Update August 29. 2009
Back in June, three otter cubs were born at the British Wildlife Centre to parents Thisle and Sterling. Matt Binstead, the head keeper just sent me new pictures and an update and the otters are looking healthy, happy and well fed!
Matt writes: I sent you a couple of pics of our young otters when they where only a few weeks old and still in their holt. I thought I would send you an update of them now they are 3 and a half months old and busy all afternoons playing around, swimming and causing their mum a lot of hassle.

Neat pictures. Would love to visit the British Wildlife Centre, but I guess I'll have to be satisfied to visit their website. I have it saved in my favorites!! Thanks for sharing your otter pictures!!
I was at the British Wildlife Centre a few weeks ago but, sadly for me, these babies were still too young for mum and dad to bring them out of their holt for visitors to see. So thanks for posting these photos, Peter.
It's a great centre, with big, landscaped exhibits for the otters, and plenty of other mustelids such as stoats, weasels, polecats, pine martens and mink.
