SY Dration from Russia sent me one of the most amazing otter pictures I've ever seen! This otter mom looks like she's proudly showing off her new baby.

oh, i'm glad this one made its way here, this is my absolute favorite otter pic...and such a rare shot, too! usually, tha momz are very protective and never let the pups out of the den!

This is such a lovely photo! And I'm glad I saw it on CO, and got directed here. I love your site. I've pretty much loved otters, especially river otters, since I saw Ring Of Bright Water as a kid.
I first saw this photo on flickr, so if you're going to go all out to increase your traffic, you may have to credit it too?
Little known fact of nature: Otter children are embarrassed to be seen with their parents from a very early age.

This is the only time you will see an otter with tiny hind feet. I love Mama's eyes. Should an otter wall calendar be created, this is the May page.
